Ate here for lunch the other day. They were busy and only 2 servers, but the servers were very energetic and things still moved smoothly. The pasta carbonara was really really good (I had the gluten free noodles). My friend loved the lobster bisque. As always, everything is consistent, from the food to the service. Yes, prices have increased along with everything else, but all three of us took food home because the portions are so big. Quiet, unassuming atmosphere.
We stopped in for lunch after hearing good things. We got a Caprese Salad to share, Tortellini, and Pasta con Broccoli. The food was all really delicious. Service was good, too.
Brought a co worker who is from Toronto Canada. He loved the food and the atmosphere. Server Tyson was great, quick and always there if we needed something. Food was awesome.
I am a huge fan of this spot! They have a grocery section, as well as a section to order food to either pick up and take with you, or you can stay inside and enjoy your meal at a table. What I love most about the small grocery section is that you can purchase some fresh or frozen Italian ingredients and they have lots of sauce and pasta options! They also have a bunch of frozen food in their freezer section if you want to pick up and cook another day. Their deli is awesome for sandwiches, but they also offer traditional Italian dishes like lasagna, chicken farm, fettuccini Alfredo, etc. Their salads are fresh and delicious too. Sometimes they have live music that you can enjoy while eating if you choose to eat at a table as they have a few spots inside to dine. But if you prefer to order your food to-go, they can accommodate this as well. All the workers are so friendly and helpful. And honestly, this is THE PLACE to grab dinner on a Friday night. You won't regret it.
The dipped garlic bread talian beef sandwich is one of the best I have ever had. And a nice store, with a family heritage.
This is a great spot for an office lunch. Their salads are really good - I had a steak salad here that was super special. The tortellini is creamy, rich, and delicious and the flatbread pizza with eggplant is a stand out. Everything is made fresh and service is consistent. Pro tip: save room for gelato. The cherry mascarpone gelato is fabulous ! My second favorite is pistachio. And, don't forget to stock up on your Italian meats and cheeses and any frozen pasta that you want to take home. It's a good idea to get your freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano here too instead of that junk in the green bottle at the grocery store. LOL! Since it's Christmas they have some beautiful antique glass ornaments that I was able to pick up for my kitchen Christmas tree. My family has been shopping at Viviano's since they opened on The Hill and this location in South County does them proud. It doesn't have the same homey feel & trademark smell as the original the one on Shaw, but it's special just the same.
Well what a pleasant surprise! Hadn't been to Viviano's in a while and decided to go today before hitting Barnes & Noble in Fenton. We pulled into the shopping center as normal and almost lost it seeing a brick wall where Viviano's was previously. But fear not, two doors down is a new and improved version of the original. We walked in and were shocked by the layout...a real restaurant! What?!? Oh man were we excited. Seated by the host we ordered and had a really nice house salad each (chopped salad was perfect, just the right amount of cheese) with Viviano's balsamic vinaigrette. Then the Festa and a Chicken/bacon/ranch for a perfect lunch! Service was great then we toured the shop, looked in the banquet rooms and stood at the bar for a second. Everything feels great, nice job team Viviano's! And the hours are open later (until 9pm) so lunch or dinner are options. We'll be back again soon.
Fantastic bartender! Ben the mixologist is the master at his craft. The Manhattan made with a rye whisky was outstanding. Nice quality of whiskeys as well as other vodkas and spirits. A definite positive experience. Menu eas really good. I had the carbonara with chicken that was outstanding. Salad was also very good. I especially enjoyed the positive service by our server. She was both professional and also provided great background information. Lastly, I was very impressed with the owner visiting each table and speaking with and spending time with us on the meal. He was a good listener and it further demonstrated his commitment to his craft and customers. FIVE PLUS STARS!
Hot Roast Beef and Au Jus layered on Muffuletta Bread basted with garlic sauce and topped with provel cheese, yes please! I make it a point to stop by Vivianos every time I'm in Fenton. The food is A-MAZE-ING and the service is even better. Michael Viviano always greets me with a friendly smile and is so helpful. Everyone is treated like family. If you haven't checked out their new space, do it! It's a great place to bring the whole family or stop by on your lunch break. As Mr. Viviano says "Come as you are, everyone is welcome!"
